Two strangers meet on the day of the apocalypse.
Filmed with a micro-crew against the backdrop of Wellington’s beautiful forests and rugged coastlines, Strangers is a story about the strength of even the most fleeting human connections.
This is a self-funded short that follows New Zealand’s long-standing tradition of Guerrilla filmmaking, with the three-day shoot stretching across multiple weekends and public holidays.
Strangers premiered at the Melbourne Women in Film Festival in March 2026.
